Via de la Valle On-Ramp to Northbound Interstate 5 CLOSED until 9pm on Tues 7-17

Construction crews have closed the Via de la Valle on-ramp to northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) this morning until Tuesday, July 17, at 9 p.m., in order to widen and pave the on-ramp. “We took this opportunity between the San Diego County Fair and the horse racing season at Del Mar to get the work done,” said District Director Pedro Orso-Delgado. “We wanted to be sure to allow all access available to the fair grounds during these events.” Changeable Message Signs will be placed in advance of the closure. The posted detour will send motorists on southbound I-5 to the northbound Del Mar Heights Road on-ramp.
